This is the chicken who will be honored with mummification and burial (no pyramid). She has not yet been named. stay tuned. These things cannot and should not be rushed.
She weighs in at a petite 2 lbs 11 oz.. Apparently, smaller is better when you're mummificating,
She is (was) a Wegman's free range, fresh, organic chicken.
Lily and I really wanted one with a head, but this one is sans head (because Kate refused to ask one of her Farmer's Market buddies for one with a head and I didn't feel like driving to Chinatown.)
